Logitix, a Victory Live company, provides a live event ticketing solution for the travel industry through partnerships with sports organizations, performing arts venues and music events.
Mario Bauduin is managing director of XpoTravel and Jon Katz is chief distribution officer at Logitix, a Victory Live company.
Logitix is a channel manager for live event ticketing. The company provides ticket inventory management solutions for sports properties, performing arts operators, venues and promoters and enables resellers to offer sports and entertainment supply from more than 400 partners worldwide.
The platform is designed to help sellers and buyers optimize ticket sales and revenue through dynamic pricing and distribution services.
In October, Victory Live, a technology platform focused on sports and entertainment, event management, data and ticketing software, acquired Logitix from private equity firm ZMC. The deal is intended to help the company accelerate global growth, including adding new distribution partners in travel and hospitality.
In a presentation as part of the Launch competition at The Phocuswright Conference in November in Phoenix, Mario Bauduin, managing director at XpoTravel, explained how Logitix offers a wholesale API for live event tickets at net rates that can help travel companies meet their customers' desire to plan their travel around entertainment and sports events.
"In terms of a value add, you now have your guest staying on your site to buy the ticket," Bauduin said.
"It also gives you the opportunity to create ticket-first travel experiences."
