Founded in 2015, the company now operates in more than 130 countries around the world, with ground transportation bookings available on its website and through its partners that use its API integration or travel agent portal or through a host agency partner.
In a presentation as part of the Launch competition at The Phocuswright Conference in November in Phoenix, Daytrip CEO Tomas Turek explained that its customers can choose the type of vehicle for their ride and can also customize the trip by adding sightseeing stops along their route. All drivers speak English and share information about local history and culture during the trip.
"It's like traveling with a local friend but with all the safety and convenience you expect from a private transfer," he said.
