Arena is a Series B startup that builds artificial intelligence-native products across a variety of industries. The company has raised $60 million to date from investors including Initialized Capital, Fifth Down Ventures, Founder’s Fund and Goldcrest Capital.

Partnering with NEOM in Saudi Arabia, Arena has created two products: Trainer, a gamified platform for employee onboarding and upskilling in tourism and hospitality, and Plan It, a travel assistant that helps tourists plan and manage their trips. Trainer helps scale a high-touch luxury service culture, and Plan It shares relevant behavior data with partners, enabling them to tailor services to each tourist's needs.

In a presentation as part of the Launch competition at The Phocuswright Conference last month in Phoenix, Eamon Blackwell, Arena's go-to-market lead, explained how these two solutions are creating better experiences for travelers and operators.

He also explained how the company is exploring poportunities to deploy solutions with airlines, hotels, tour operators and other travel industry stakeholders.
